The Northernmost Via Ferrata of Norway !
Join us for a steep and exciting experience! We gurantee to give you a great time, and a few exhilirating moments on the way to the lofty peak high above Mosjøen!
The city rests in the middle of the stunning region of Helgeland - and is rightfully labelled "the city in the middle of Norway." This is where you find Norway´s mosth northern Via Ferrata, which is Italian and means "Iron trail". Our iron trail snakes itself up the mountain Øyfjellet, with the use of only a minimum of permanent installations. One wire is attached to the mountain side, and our route goes mainly where we can find natural grips and steps. In a few places we have inserted some iron steps, and the trip offers the perfect opportunity to try rock climbing in safe conditions, and without much pre-knowledge needed. The route is classified as B/C, which means it has a difficulty grade ranging from easy to medium.
This is a fun challenge and an exciting opportunity you can not miss out on!
